On June 13, Pulposaurus is launching the campaign for Conan: Rise of Monsters (or CROM, for short.) The game looks to be a fun, fast-paced skirmish game with some amazing-looking prepainted miniatures.
The campaign will also feature some incredible unpainted resin terrain created by Reaper Miniatures. The good folks at Pulposaurus were kind enough to send us a sneak peak of the one of the new terrain pieces. So, without further ado, we present the Statue of Set.
Besides being a great-looking terrain piece that can do double-duty in any fantasy RPG or minis game, the Statue of Set has some specific effects in the Conan: Rise of Monsters game. Stygian units near the statue become Inspired, adding dice to their attacks and defense. But if Conan's Circle of Iron warband manages to destroy it, he gains Victory Points and increases his Destiny pool for the remainder of the game.
For more information about the game, visit the CROM Facebook page. We’ll be tracking the campaign here and adding the figures to the site once the project funds, so watch this space for the more information.
