The new year is here, and with it comes a double-dose of miniature collecting goodness for Pathfinder and Dungeons & Dragons fans.

First up is the Pathfinder Battles Deadly Foes set (which actually came out late last year, but who's counting?) This set features a wealth of otherworldly opponents, including demons, devils, angels and the Lovecraftian Star Spawn of Cthulhu. It offers both boss- and troop-type figures, along with re-imaginings of classic creatures. To top it off, the set includes six new objects, such as the Arcane Pillar and the Hellgate, to provide set dressing and inspiration for new adventures.

Next, we have Monster Menagerie II, the latest set from the D&D Icons of the Realms line. The set is packed with D&D staples like Hobgoblins, Giant Rats, Kobolds, Goblins, Bullywugs and Orcs. It makes a great starting point for anyone who might be new to the hobby, or a welcome addition to veteran DMs who are looking to fill out their collections. Dragon lovers will find five new dragons, both metallic and chromatic. And, like all the Icons of the Realms sets, there are a number of invisible variant chase figures to hunt for on your quest to complete the set.
